Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Connected Therapy. By using this website and engaging in therapeutic services with Polina Stoycheva, PhD, you agree to the following terms.
1. Professional Services
Connected Therapy provides Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT). These sessions are a collaborative process designed to support emotional well-being. Please note that Polina Stoycheva is currently completing advanced EFIT specialization under expert clinical supervision to ensure the highest standard of care.
2. Payments and Fees
Agreed rates. All fees for sessions are agreed upon individually between the therapist and the client prior to the commencement of work.
Payment processing. All financial transactions are processed securely through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to be bound by Stripe's Terms of Service. Connected Therapy does not store or have access to your full credit card details.
Timing. Payments may be made before or after a session as per your specific agreement with Polina.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
To respect the therapeutic process and the availability of sessions, we require a 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than this notice may be subject to the full session fee.
4. Confidentiality and Privacy
Your privacy is paramount. All therapeutic conversations are strictly confidential, within the ethical and legal limits of professional practice in Finland. For more details on how your data is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
5. Disclaimer and Liability
Therapy is a subjective process, and specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed. While EFIT is a science-based approach, it is not a substitute for emergency psychiatric care. If you are in a crisis, please contact local emergency services or your nearest hospital.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland.
